Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Ministry of Finance of China Release Action Plan for Conservation Tillage of Black Soil in Northeast China(2020-2025)
Conservation Tillage(CT) is a modern cultivation technology system, mainly includes soil straw mulching retention technology and zero or minimum tillage seeding, which can effectively reduce wind and water erosion, promote soil fertility, preservesoil moisture, protect drought resistance and soil water. Therefore, CT can enhance agricultural ecology and economic benefits. The CT technology will be promoted in black soil of Northeast China, which under construction of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Ministry of Finance of China.
Objective: By 2025, the application area of the CT technology will be achieved 9.33 million ha, which will reach about 70% of the whole areas where is suitable for CT in Northeast China.
A professional working group and long-term monitoring stations will be constructed in this project. This plan will also promote development and innovation of machines, perfect the project standard and system, and increase the effective supply of agricultural equipment.
